Animal Teach does not currently carry out workshops for birthdays, christenings or weddings.

How do I book?
Contact us using our Online Contact Form, email animalteachworkshops@outlook.com directly or call us on 01928 622 342.

You'll speak either Naomi or Dawn who will discuss the process with you to ensure it is seamless from start to finish
Can I choose the animals I'd like at the workshop?
You are more than welcome to suggest animals you would like at your workshop, but their attendance is not guaranteed as animal welfare is priority.

We have various snakes, lizards, tortoises, invertebrates and amphibians. Their attendance is dependent on their observations and workshop style.
Can I hold the animals during workshops?
Animals that demonstrate comfort with handling may be held by participants during workshops. Safe4 Hand Sanitiser is provided at every session and Animal Teach Ltd adheres to strict handling protocols at all times.

Some species will be display-only due to their individual behavioural needs or species-specific requirements.

Tarantulas will never be placed directly on hands to prevent bites, urticating or accidental drops.

Snakes will never be placed around participants’ necks, prioritising their welfare and minimising the risk of bites or strangulation.

Frogs may be handled at select workshops only, using gloves and water to ensure their safety and wellbeing.

All workshops follow species-specific handling policies to ensure the safety and welfare of both animals and participants.
Are you licensed and insured?
Animal Teach hold an Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals Regulations) (England) 2018 Certificate which is a legal requirement for exhibiting animals. Additionally Animal Teach has Public Liability Insurance, Protocols & Policies and Risk Assessments and APHA Animal Transporter Certificate
